My memories... How your body gets Carbon Di Oxide?
Posted on 22nd January 2015
How does your body get carbon dioxide?
Most of us are not known what is Breathing...It is a process of our body to Inhale Oxygen and exhale Carbon di oxide. Every one knows it but most of us are not known how the Carbon di oxide enters in our body? In our primary education we learnt that when we exhale Carbon di oxide the plants will take it and gives Oxygen for us.
we all get carbon from the air, but not by inhaling it. carbon gets fixated into the calvin cyle (an important reaction during photosynthesis) which in turn, helps provide the building blocks to let the plant grow..notice the C in C6H12O6....depending on ur eating habits, u can either get Carbon from eating vegetables or by eating animals who eat plants lol..well, during cellular respiration, this sugar that ur eating (C6H12O6) would need to…

Please tell me Why you need to fill different times. Because depend upon the engine capacity one need to fill according to the work. Similarly every one needs food according to his body activities. Controlling Diabetes can avoid Birth defects
Posted in 2015 Controlling your blood sugar level before and during pregnancy is the best way to prevent diabetes complications. Good blood sugar control during pregnancy can:
Reduce the risk of miscarriage and stillbirth. Good blood sugar control reduces the risk of miscarriage and stillbirth — primary concerns for pregnancy and diabetes, as patients with uncontrolled diabetes have a higher risk of miscarriage and stillbirth.
Reduce the risk of premature birth. The better your blood sugar control, the less likely you are to go into preterm labor.
Reduce the risk of birth defects. Good blood sugar control before and during early pregnancy greatly reduces your baby's risk of birth defects, particularly those affecting the brain, spine and heart.
Reduce the risk of excess fetal growth. If you have poor blood sugar con…

Breastfeeding little known benefits
Posted in 2016 1. Breastfed babies smell better.
Unlike the stinky stools of a formula-fed baby, the stools of a breastfed infant have a less offensive buttermilk-like odor. Changing the diaper of a breastfed infant is not an unpleasant task–which is fortunate, because most breastfed babies have several bowel movements a day. When the baby looks at the face of the diaper-changing caregiver and sees happiness rather than disgust, he picks up a good message about himself – perhaps a perk for building self-esteem.
2. Breastfed babies have nicer skin.
Many pediatricians who have developed a keen eye and sense of touch over years of examining babies report that they can often tell by the look and feel of an infant’s skin whether or not the baby is breastfed or formula-fed. The skin of a breastfed baby often has a softer, smoother feel. There i…

Well nourished during your Pregnancy
Posted in 2014 Mothers who are well-nourished during pregnancy:
Have fewer problems with morning sickness, constipation, fatigue, heartburn and muscle cramps.
Experience fewer cravings for high-fat, high-sugar foods that have little nutritional value.
Are less likely to develop pregnancy complications, such as anemia, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, premature birth or giving birth to a baby with low birth weight.
Have an easier labor with fewer complications.
Find it easier to take off excess weight after the birth and experience less postpartum depression.
Proper nutrition during pregnancy also results in healthier babies who:
Are a healthier weight at birth.
Are less likely to experience complications during and immediately after birth, including birth defects.
Are less likely to experience developmental delays.
Best of all, you will lea…

Risk factors Maternal age at conception
Posted in 2013

Everyone is aware of the ticking of the biological clock, but does your 35th birthday represent a particularly special milestone in biology? Do you hit 35 and suddenly become "high risk" overnight? Women are delivering healthy babies throughout their 30s and beyond. The age of 35 is simply an age that certain risks become more worthy of discussion. While these risks become slightly more likely after hitting 35 years old, this does not mean that they will have a significant impact on everyone in their mid-thirties and older. Women are born with all the eggs they will ever have. As females age, the likelihood that they will get pregnant reduces due to the declining number of remaining eggs and their reduced quality. Fertility also declines in men with age due to declining sperm counts, motility, and sem…

The Effects of Dehydration in Pregnant Women on unborn child
During pregnancy, your body relies on water for additional functions, and not getting enough water can have negative effects on your growing baby. In the early stages of pregnancy, your blood volume expands significantly to supply your baby and the placenta. Water composes the majority of this blood content in the form of plasma. Your baby's amniotic fluid is initially formed from water you drink as well. Symptoms of morning sickness such as vomiting can make you more vulnerable to dehydration.
Heat Regulation
Dehydration can lead to maternal overheating. Water aids in heat regulation for all individuals, but it becomes especially important during pregnancy. Overheating becomes easier during pregnancy because your body is not able to rid i…

My memories... Water serves as Lubricant
Posted on 8th May 2014 Water serves as a lubricant
Every one knows about Lubrication as they know how important of Lubrication for their Two or Four wheeler. Without Lubrication engine parts will be damaged due to friction. In our body many bone structure in every joint need lubrication for proper maintenance to protect it from friction. We cannot apply lubrication oil or any in our joint.
Water serves as a lubricant in digestion and almost all other body processes. The water in our saliva helps facilitate chewing and swallowing, ensuring that food will slide easily down the esophagus. Water also lubricates our joints and cartilages and allows them to (pardon the pun) move more fluidly. When dehydrated, the body rations water away from the joints. Less lubrication equals greater friction and that can cause joint, knee and back pain potentially lea…

Know Our body functions .. Its natural
Posted in 2014 The human body is an incredible biological machine; it's made up of nearly 100 trillion cells (and contains at least 10 times as many bacteria). Some of the major parts of the body are the skeletal system, the vital organs, the reproductive system, the integumentary system and the muscular system. Each part plays a crucial role in keeping you alive and healthy.
Skeletal System
The skeletal system is made up of 206 bones connected by various tendons, ligaments and cartilage, and has many vital functions. The system consists of the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton. The axial skeleton is made up of 80 bones, including the vertebral column, the rib cage and the skull, and helps you maintain your upright posture. The appendicular skeleton consists of 126 bones that form the pectoral girdles, the upper …
